Explicit PURPOSE: Burlington County College offers numerous open doors for progression whether it is a venturing stone to a multi year school, a section into a certify program through assurance move, or the regularly growing four year college education culmination program at Burlington County College. Presentation I went to Rutgers for a year. I was likewise effectively engaged with Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) for those two semesters. I kept up a good GPA and made many companions. All things considered, I’m sure some of you are thinking â€Å"well then for what reason would he say he is standing up before a class at BCC right now at that point? † The fair truth is on the grounds that I was not very much educated on the diverse degree looking for programs offered here at Burlington County College so that’s what I am here to examine with you today. Burlington County College offers numerous open doors for headway whether it is a venturing stone to a multi year school, a passage into a certify program through assurance move, or the consistently extending four year certification culmination program at the school. In the event that you have the assurance, Burlington County College can get you there. BODY I. A few understudies like to utilize BCC as a venturing stone to multi year establishments. 1. There is a huge cost contrast when going to a junior college and a multi year establishment. . As indicated by collegeboard. com, the most exceptional source on school related material, the normal additional charge for full time, out-of-state understudies educational cost at an open multi year organization is $10,867 every year. b. As indicated by Burlington County College, the most forward-thinking educational cost valuing outline expresses an in-region understudy pays $96. 50 for every credit hour or what might be compared to $1,351 fo r full time status, accepting the understudy is taking 14 credits. c. Without thought of different charges and costs identified with going to a multi year organization, the normal understudy can hope to spare an abundance of $9,500 every year on credits alone by going to Burlington County College. 2. Numerous multi year degree programs follow a nonexclusive blueprint of four semesters of center classes and four semesters of classes outfitted towards the suitable major. a. With this four and four structure, understudies can flawlessly move credits and still be on target for a similar graduation date of somebody that went to the multi year organization from the beginning. . Another motivation to consider doing the initial four semesters at a junior college is the study hall plan. An understudy could hope to have an overabundance of 300 individuals in a talk at a huge multi year foundation where as Burlington County College addressed classes hold a maximum limit of around 80 understudies. 3. Numerous Students coming out of secondary school are as yet unce rtain on their major or may switch majors during their school profession. As indicated by Louie Bottaro, a scholastic counsel for the school of human sciences at Oregon State University, about 80% of understudies who start school will switch their major in any event once. a. By going to a multi year foundation, an understudy has the ability to switch their major with practically zero effect on future aspirations concerning graduation. b. By allowing an understudy the chance to uninhibitedly change their major with little effect, they are given a more drawn out chance to develop and settle on vocation choices that could influence them for the remainder of their lives II. A one of a kind open door that approximately multi year college’s offer, including Burlington County College, is a program called the assurance move program. This program is intended to put understudies that meet certain models into a specific multi year establishment for a consistent, continuous stream for acquiring their multi year degree. 1. For certain understudies going to school, secondary school evaluations might be an issue for permission into somewhere in the range of multi year organizations. a. Many licensed multi year establishments require a specific standard where their forthcoming understudies must meet. For a few, these norms incorporate a specific GPA, or Grade Point Average, in which they may not consent to before the finish of their secondary school profession. The assurance move program enables the planned understudy to enter a program they may have been already ineligible for, expecting they meet all models for that program. b. By setting up rules for permission into these projects, an understudy can unmistakably build up their benchmark and in this manner set themselves up for progress right off the bat. 2. Not exclusively does the program offer the understudy the chance to enter programs they may have been already ineligible for, it gives them a similar chance to graduate with in a similar time period of an understudy who went to every one of the four years at a similar organization, yet for a small amount of the expense. a. As expressed before, educational cost rates among junior colleges and multi year schools are significantly unique. By entering the ensured move program, an understudy could hope to spare a normal of over $19,000 by going to the initial two years at a junior college. b. In doing as such, if an understudy wanted to work they could keep on doing as such at their present work environment (accepting they had one). By proceeding to work it gives understudies a couple more years to spare so the money related weight isn’t as extraordinary. 3. For Some understudies, the idea of entering school could send them into alarm mode. a. By entering a multi year foundation realizing you have indistinguishable open doors from a person who entered a multi year establishment direct out of secondary school, a multi year organization could help with the progress stage from secondary school to school without the underlying colossal way of life change. b. You know the desires you need to progress in the direction of so as to accomplish your objectives and in doing as such, you can wipe out the interferences that numerous understudies face in regards to their first year of school when going to a multi year college. III. Another novel open door that BCC understudies have is four year certification rivalry programs at BCC. The four year certification fruition programs permit understudies to get their unhitched males degree at BCC as well as it permits them to do it at a small amount of the expense of going to the specific school in which it is facilitated through. 1. Maybe the best component with respect to the four year college education culmination program is the investment funds the understudy can hope to see thusly. These investment funds come in cost per acknowledge hour as well as these reserve funds can be credited to different circumstances too. a. Numerous undergrads are stone cold broke for what it's worth so they will in general discover spots to spare. One of the most costly extravagances in life is having a spot to remain that puts a rooftop over your head. By going to one of the BCC bachelor’s certificate consummation programs, an understudy is normally ready to remain inside their present day to day environment whether it is with their folks, gatekeepers, or a condo they share with companions. b. In the event that an understudy were to remain nearby at a multi year foundation, they could hope to pay a normal of $7,748 every year on food and lodging alone concurring collegeboard. om for the 2008-2009 school year. 2. In setting aside cash with the bachelor’s qualification culmination program, an understudy could likewise hope to spare a lot of time in movement. Most four year college education consummation program focuses can be found on either the Mt. Tree grounds or the Willingboro grounds. By halfway findi ng these degree consummation focuses an understudy can invest significantly substantially less energy voyaging hence taking into account additional time considering. 3. By going to one of the four year certification programs at BCC, it offers you the chance to procure a similar degree that an individual would gain that really went to that school nearby. a. The degree you gain is a degree direct from the school in which you earned it from. It doesn't note anyplace that the degree was finished at BCC and the endorsement holds no less worth then one of somebody who got theirs from going to on that particular college’s grounds. b. Alongside getting a similar degree, you have the chance to acquire it in a similar measure of time as somebody that would have earned it the CONCLUSION So whether you simply need Burlington County College as a venturing stone for your future or you have goals of using their assurance move or four year college education fulfillment program, Burlington County College can help get you there. What Are The Best Chinese Culture Essay Topics?

What Are The Best Chinese Culture Essay Topics? There are a lot of Chinese culture essay topics to choose from, but not all of them are appropriate for your personality. For example, the essay topic, 'The Chinese Language is Man's Language' is quite boring for some people because it is about only one language, and this particular subject may be too easy for you.For the other Asian countries like the Philippines, Thailand, and India, there are a lot of cultural essay topics that are much more interesting to read. For example, when people speak in their native language, the topics are a lot more interesting and even fun for them. If they could speak their own language with only a little bit of English, they would probably want to learn more about this language. That is why they should write a Chinese culture essay topic in their own language. It is not necessary that you write a Chinese culture essay topic only in Chinese; it is possible to use an English translation to make it more inte resting. Since English is a common language in the world, many people who cannot read and write in their native language would appreciate writing essays in English instead of in their native language. When people speak in their own language, the topics can include anything you can think of such as food, art, music, and holidays, among other things. If they would love to write a Chinese culture essay topic about these subjects, then this is just the topic that would be right for them.If you were to leave behind your own culture or language in order to learn the culture of another country, then that would be a very bad thing because you would no longer be a person with your own culture or language. However, if you have never left your own culture or language in order to learn about the culture of another country, then it would be difficult for you to learn anything at all.Thereare many people who feel that it is easy to learn from another country, but actually it is not. Although learn ing Chinese culture would be quite easy for you, actually you will never become fluent in Chinese.Just because you can learn Chinese, it does not mean that you would also be able to truly understand the true culture of that country. When people speak in their own language, they would not be able to really understand the real culture.

How Is Bavarder (to Chat) Conjugated in French

The French verb  bavarder  means to chat. Its slightly less formal than  parler (to talk)  and a very useful word to add to your vocabulary. When you want to use  bavarder  in the past tense to say chatted or in the present tense for chatting, you will need to conjugate the verb. Follow this French lesson and youll be chatting in French with ease. Conjugating the French Verb  Bavarder Bavarder  is a  regular -ER verb  and it follows the standard verb conjugation patterns of similar words like  parler  (to talk)  and  dà ©clarer  (to declare). This means that once you memorize the endings for one verb, the rest will be just a little bit easier. To conjugate French verbs, we change the ending to match the subject pronoun as well as the tense. This is in contrast to English where the -ed and -ing endings are used whether were talking about I, you, or we. It makes memorizing the verbs a challenge, but it gets easier with practice and repetition. Using the chart, you can quickly find the appropriate conjugation of  bavarder. To say Im  chatting, you will use je  bavarde and we will chat is nous bavarderons. Subject Present Future Imperfect je bavarde bavarderai bavardais tu bavardes bavarderas bavardais il bavarde bavardera bavardait nous bavardons bavarderons bavardions vous bavardez bavarderez bavardiez ils bavardent bavarderont bavardaient The Present Participle of  Bavarder When you change the -er  ending of  bavarder  to -ant, you will create the  present participle  bavardant. This is used as a verb, though it can be helpful as an adjective, gerund, or noun when needed. Another  Bavarder  Past Tense Beyond the imperfect, you can also use the  passà © composà ©Ã‚  to express  bavarder  in the past tense. To do so, you need an  auxiliary verb  as well as the  past participle. For  barvarder,  avoir  is the auxiliary verb and it needs to be conjugated.  Bavardà ©Ã‚  is the past participle and it does not change as the subject does. For instance, I chatted is jai bavardà © while we chatted is nous avons bavardà ©. More Simple Conjugations of  Bavarder The following conjugations are not as common and you may or may not use them. This is particularly true of the passà © simple and the imperfect subjunctive  as both are used most often in formal writing. The other two verb forms are more common and you might find them useful in French conversations. They both imply a level of question to the action of chatting, with the subjunctive being subjective and the conditional dependent on circumstances. Subject Subjunctive Conditional Pass Simple Imperfect Subjunctive je bavarde bavarderais bavardai bavardasse tu bavardes bavarderais bavardas bavardasses il bavarde bavarderait bavarda bavardt nous bavardions bavarderions bavardmes bavardassions vous bavardiez bavarderiez bavardtes bavardassiez ils bavardent bavarderaient bavardrent bavardassent The imperative may be helpful as well. This form is used for assertive and short statements such as commands and requests. When using the imperative, skip the subject pronoun and simply use the verb: bavarde rather than tu bavarde. Imperative (tu) bavarde (nous) bavardons (vous) bavardez

Disabled families are viewed in quantitative measures of lack and qualitative markers of excess in the notion of sexual citizenship. The establishment of new exclusionary normative caught up in an inappropriate neo-liberal agenda (Shildrick 2014, 135). Corrective discourses dominate discursive approaches to directing the disabled family agency towards normative measures of ability, competence, and capacity. Fundamentally a heterosexist framework (135), nebulous family models consist of able-bodied ideality demarcating socio-economic relation. The nuclear family stands as a symbolic representation of what an ideal form of national identity should consist of: cultural att itudes which value individualism and competition above social support and the recognition of a diversity of individual needs (Wilde Hoskison-Clark 2014, 56). Socio-economic circumstances lead to attitudinal environments where class became a socio-cultural marker for prohibiting inappropriate family form . Finance for Global Fund Managers Ltd - myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about theFinance for Global Fund Managers Ltd. Answer: Financial Risk Exposures Faced By Global Fund Managers Ltd Financial risk refers to a situation where a company experiences inadequate cash flow mainly when it uses debt financing putting the shareholders in a possibility of losing the money they had invested in the company (Allen 2013, p. 351-378). This usually happens because if the company becomes insolvent and it used debt financing, its creditors are repaid before its shareholders. In this case, the Global Fund Managers Ltd suffers from the following risks; Marketing risks-these risks are realized due to the changes in rates and market prices. Technological changes in the way of conducting business are majorly faced with this type of risk. Modern marketing structure has undergone significant changes of selling their goods and services. Some of the invented form of carrying out transactions is by online shopping. Customers keep orders through online website and make payments too. Firms that have not adopted this kind of marketing transition will have less competitive advantage in the market. These price changes will mostly relate to interest or foreign exchange rate movements. In this case, Global Fund Managers Ltd suffers this type of financial risk since the foreign exchange rates keep changing, US dollar in particular. This kind of risk can be handled by the use of asset and liability matching, together with a simultaneous purchase and sale of identical amounts of one currency for another with two different value dates and may use fore ign exchange derivatives. (Soler et al. 2010) Credit risk-This is a risk that firms experience when they give offers to their clients on credit basis. The business entity may take up the role of buying commodities on behalf of the consumers using their own capital. This is aimed at making extra profit when the customers pay back. Such type of offer may put the company at a risk given that the clients fail to pay back. Global Fund Managers Company may face this kind of risk as seen in the scenario where short term interest securities are realized. This at times poses a great risk to the company where the cash given out on interest terms would have not been paid back. Such moves are critical to the success of GFML Company. However, every risk or challenge has got its remedies. GFML can handle the credit risk by making sure that there are enough funds available for transacting business even where defaults in repayment occur. Failure to do so may put the company in a situation of losing its investors. Australian investors who got sh ares in Global Fund Managers Company may shy away from investing more of their capital given that the company does not curb credit risks. (Figlewski 2012, p. 78-88) Liquidity risk-Liquidity is the ability of an enterprise to use some of its assets in form of cash. It is simply conversion of assets into capital for effective transaction of business. This may arise due to a decrease in cash flow into the business entity. Unpredictable occurrences may occur and put the business in this type of risks and hence the need for a Company to hedge this risk. Global Fund Managers Company may experience this type of risk when selling of its Australian and US shares. The question of concern here will be, how easy the Company will sell this shares when faced with an abrupt problem of cash flow. Will it be in a position to issue out shares and get capital in return swiftly or not? Managers should be able to critically analyze such questions and be cautious when buying or selling the shares to shareholders. This risk can be handled through proper management of cash in the company. (Ullrich 2009, p. 98-111) The idea of GFML Company investing in shares puts it at a risk. When interest rates increase, the value of bond prices always tend to reduce significantly. This will then mean that Global Fund Managers Company will undergo a loss when operating on bond basis as seen in the table. The table shows us how the company uses bonds as securities to the long term fixed interest issued. It is also seen that the Company accepted bills as a security of get cash on short term basis. A bill is simply used as a source of security to borrowed capital. Bills have the effect of being charged highly before issuing out. This is uneconomical and most of the Companies do not accept bills in trade. (Ridley 2014, p. 654-666) Recommendations on whether to hedge all the risks identified. It will be effective to hedge all the risks mentioned above. This is due to the high risks attached to them if not well solved to the later. No business entity finds it interesting to carry out activities that are not aimed at profit generation hence the need to hedge all the mentioned risk exposers. Firstly, we have credit risk as one of the major exposers to financial risks. Global Fund Managers Company needs to deal with this risk in order to maintain a consistent cash flow. Low cash flow into the Company will automatically lead to collapsing of it and this is the reason why credit risk must be hedged without failure (Skantze et al. 2015). Secondly, the Company must also hedge liquidity risk. Assets are part and parcel of investments that a business keeps. This means that it should also be in a position redeem these assets when encountering financial crises. The main purpose of having assets is for further securities in times of problems. GFML should hedge this risk in order to av oid uncertainties brought about by natural phenomenon. Lastly, financial risks are also a key thing that must be handled. A company cannot operate without cash hence the reason for hedging. (Bielecki et al. 2011) Derivative instruments Some of the derivatives that can be used are offering of lower interest rates on bonds and bills. Another derivative is hedging of decreasing rates of exchange. At times the US dollar conversion is always higher at the time of contracts and lowers when doing the contract. Prevention of this will be important to the success of GFML Company at large. Hedging of exports must be implemented by GFML because it deals with domestic investors who do more of the exportation than importation. (Mason 2013, p. 60-65) References Allen, S. (2013). The Picture of Dorian Gray Corruption Through Aes Essay Example For Students

The Picture of Dorian Gray: Corruption Through Aes Essay theticismThe Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is the story of moral corruption by the means of aestheticism. In the novel, the well meaning artist Basil Hallward presets young Dorian Gray with a portrait of himself. After conversing with cynical Lord Henry Wotton, Dorian makes a wish which dreadfully affects his life forever. If it were I who was to be always young, and the picture that was to grow old! For that I would give everything! Yes, there is nothing in the whole world I would not give! I would give my soul for that (Wilde 109). As it turns out, the devil that Dorian sells his soul to is Lord Henry Wotton, who exists not only as something external to Dorian, but also as a voice within him (Bloom 107). Dorian continues to lead a life of sensuality which he learns about in a book given to him by Lord Henry. Dorians unethical devotion to pleasure becomes his way of life. We will write a custom essay on The Picture of Dorian Gray: Corruption Through Aes specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now The novel underscores its disapproval of aestheticism which negatively impacts the main characters. Each of the three primary characters is an aesthete and meets some form of terrible personal doom. Basil Hallwards aestheticism is manifested in his dedication to his artistic creations. He searches in the outside world for the perfect manifestation of his own soul, when he finds this object, he can create masterpieces by painting it (Bloom 109). He refuses to display the portrait of Dorian Gray with the explanation that, I have put too much of myself into it (Wilde 106). He further demonstrates the extent to which he holds this philosophy by later stating that, only the artist is truly reveled (109). Lord Henry Wotton criticizes Basil Hallward that, An artist should create beautiful things but should put nothing of his own life into them (Wilde 25). Ironically, the purpose of Basil Hallwards existence is that he is an aesthete striving to become one with his art (Eriksen 105). It is this very work of art which Basil refuses to display that provides Dorian Gray with the idea that there are no consequences to his actions. Dorian has this belief in mind when he murders Basil. Here we see that the artist is killed for his excessive love of physical beauty; the same art that he wished to merge with is the cause of his mortal downfall (Juan 64). Lord Henry Wotton, the most influential man in Dorians life, is an aesthete of the mind. Basil is an artist who uses a brush while Wotton is an artist who uses words: There is no good, no evil, no morality and immorality; there are modes of being. To live is to experiment aesthetically in living to experiment all sensations, to know all emotions, and to think all thoughts, in order that the selfs every capacity may be imaginatively realized (West 5811). Lord Henry believes that, it is better to be beautiful than to be good (Wilde 215). Although he attests that aestheticism is a mode of thought, he does not act on his beliefs. Basil Hallward accuses him saying, You never say a moral thing and you never do a wrong thing (5). However, Lord Henry does take the immoral action of influencing Dorian. Although Lord Henry states that, all influence is immoral (Wilde 18), he nonetheless drastically changes Dorian Gray. As Dorian acts on the beliefs of Lord Henry, the portraits beauty becomes corrupted. Lord Henry presents Dorian with the tenants of his New Hedonism, whose basis is self-development leading to the perfect realization of ones nature (Eriksen 97). If Lord Henrys aesthetic ideas have validity ,Dorian Grays portrait should not become ugly, but rather more beautiful. Since the picture becomes loathsome, it is evident that Lord Henrys beliefs are untrue (West 5811). Dorian becomes so disgusted with the horrible portrait that he slashes the canvas, and the knife pierces his own heart. Because Lord Henry is responsible for influencing Dorian Gray, he is partly the cause of the death of Dorian (5810). .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .postImageUrl , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:hover , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:visited , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:active { border:0!important; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:active , .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7 .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u829fe2578e398ede10f8405e792841e7:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: The motet EssayWhile Lord Henry is indirectly the cause of Dorians death, he too causes his own downfall. Lord Henry changes Dorian with the belief that morals have no legitimate place in life. He gives Dorian a book about a man who seeks beauty in evil sensations. Both Lord Henrys actions and thoughts prove ruinous, as his wife leaves him and the remaining focus of his life, youthful Dorian Gray, kills himself in an attempt to further the lifestyle suggested to him by Lord Henry. Eventually, he is left destitute, without Dorian, the art he so cherishes, because he tried to mold it, as dictated by aestheticism. Of all the protagonists, Dorians downfall is the most clearly recognized. A young man who was pure at the beginning of the novel becomes depraved by the influence of Lord Henry. He grew more and more enamored of his own beauty, more and more interested in the corruption of his own soul (Bloom 121). He begins to lead a life of immorality, including the murder of his dear friend Basil Hallward. There were moments when he looked on evil simply as a mode through which he could realize his conception of beautiful (Wilde 196). However, there is still a spark of good left in Dorian. He lashes out at his twisted mentor, Lord Henry, declaring, I cant bear this Henry! You mock at everything, and then suggest the most serious tragedies (173). This trace of goodness is not enough to save Dorian, for he has crossed too far towards the perverted side of aestheticism and cannot escape it. Dorian experiments with himself and with men and women, and watches the experiment recorded year by year in the fouling and aging corruption of his portraits beauty (West 5811). Dorian becomes so disgusted with this portrait of his soul and his conscience, that he slashes the canvas, killing himself. For Dorian, this is the ultimate evil act, the desire to rid himself of all moral sense. Having failed the attempt to escape through good actions, he decides to escape by committing the most terrible of crimes. Aestheticism has claimed its final victim. Basil Hallward is what I think I am: Lord Henry what the world thinks of me: Dorian Gray what I would like to be in other ages, perhaps (Hart-Davis 352). Because of the endings hecreates for these characters, Oscar Wilde proves that he does not envision himself in the immoral characters of this story nor is he attempting to promote their lifestyles. Of all the characters whom he creates, he sees himself as Basil, the good artist who sacrifices himself to fight immorality. It was his beauty that had ruined him, his beauty and the youth that he had prayed for (Wilde 242). Contrary to Wildes claim in the preface that, there is no such thing as a moral or immoral book (vii), this novel has a deep and meaningful purpose. The moral is that an absence of spirituality, of faith, of regard for human life, separates individuals like Wildes Dorian Gray from humanity and makes monsters of them (West 5831). W.H. Auden feels that the story is specifically structured to provide a moral. He compares the story to that of a fairy tale, complete with a princess, a wicked witch, and a fairy godmother. This leaves room for a moral with which good every fairy tale ends. Not only is the novel seen as existing on the pure level of fairy tales, but it is claimed to contain ethical beauty (Auden 146). The Picture of Dorian Gray is a novel including a moral dialogue between conscience and temptation that is powerfully conveyed. Though it is made to seem an advocate for aestheticism on the surface, the story ultimately undermines that entire philosophy. Wilde brings the question of to what extent are we shaped by our actions (26). He also demonstrates that art cannot be a substitute for life (Eriksen 104). It is a fantastic tale of hedonism with a moral to be learned and remembered.

(Ethics And Comunication) Reflection On Communication Article

(Ethics And Comunication) Reflection On Communication Article (Ethics And Comunication) Reflection On Communication – Article Example Reflection on Communication Email is a fundamental means of communication in the present age and is largely employed for exchanging words, ideas and important business information between two or more parties. It gives innumerable benefits over the alternative sources if information like fax or post in that it is not only cost effective, but is also a highly prestigious, sober and refined means of communication that maintains the secrecy and privacy of the communicating parties. Nevertheless, there are certain precautions that must be taken by using email for communication because wrong use of the options it provides an individual with for good may prove extremely detrimental for the individual’s personal and social life. Some of these precautions are discussed below:One should only reply to the email when one is in the right state of mind and is not overwhelmed with emotions because one can not retreat the message forwarded. Emotionally driven person may overestimate or undere stimate his abilities while writing the email which may expose him/her to potential threats. Using email for communication is not always a good idea. Some matters need to be discussed face-to-face. One should not expect the reply of an email to appear immediately as it is sent because the other party may not log in for a day or two or more. Urgent matters have to be discussed either on phone or in person. Email service provides its users with a â€Å"reply to all† option using which, an individual can forward a message to all people in the contact list with a single click. This is seldom a useful option but it may be availed unintentionally and inadvertently. In the latter case, the click can jeopardize an individual’s career and relationships. Email is an excellent means of communication but must be used with precaution in order to maximize the benefits and avoid the accidents.

Hydraulic Fracturing In Coal Seam Gas Mining Dissertation

Hydraulic Fracturing In Coal Seam Gas Mining - Dissertation Example There is a lot of misinformation in the public debate - most due to a lack of scientific understanding about the issue.  (Provide literature about this) V. To inform the debate about the expansion of the CSG sector, companies need to be transparent and make their information publicly available. (Is the CSG sector, with all its companies, being transparent and make their information publicly available?) VI. I am interested in exploring the range of scientific community, industry and general community perspectives, as well as the level of trust, in the CSG sector as it is a key factor in public support. (What are the perspectives of the scientific community, industry and general community, and their level of trust in the CSG sector? Do they support it or not?) The process of hydraulic fracturing originated in the United States in 1947 to stimulate the flow of natural gas from the Hugoton field in Kansas (Halliburton 2012). After six decades, more than 1.1 million fracturing activities have been conducted that delivered more than 600 trillion cubic feet of natural gas to American consumers. Halliburton (2012) elaborated that there are currently 9 out of 10 onshore wells that need fracture stimulation to remain or become viable. The technology behind the shale gas development is very promising that it offers massive monetary revenue increases, aside from the clean energy potentials that can be tapped (EPA 2012). However, the actual methods of hydraulic fracturing to stimulate gas wells have been observed to pose both environmental and humanitarian risks that it aroused public concerns which led to a worldwide questioning of the legality of its procedures and operations.

Aristotle Plato Essay Example for Free

Aristotle Plato Essay Aristotle was born on 384 BC in Stageira, Chalcidice 34 miles east of modern-day Thessaloniki. His father Nicomachus was the personal physician to King Amyntas of Macedon. Aristotle educated as a member of aristocracy and at the age of eighteen, he went to Athens to do his further studies in Plato’s Academy. He was there at the beginning as a student of Plato, and then became a researcher and finally a teacher. Aristotle married Hermiass niece Pythias who died ten years later. After her death he married Herpyllis, who came from his birthplace, Stageira. By 335 BC he had returned to Athens, establishing his own school in there known as the Lyceum. This Academy focused more on biology than its predecessor that relied on mathematics. Aristotle not only studied almost every subject possible at the time, but made significant contributions to most of them. In physical science, Aristotle studied anatomy, astronomy, embryology, geography, geology, meteorology, physics and zoology. In philosophy, he wrote on aesthetics, ethics, government, metaphysics, politics, economics, psychology, rhetoric and theology. He also studied education, foreign customs, literature and poetry. His combined works constitute a virtual encyclopedia of Greek knowledge. It has been suggested that Aristotle was probably the last person to know everything there was to be known in his own time. He greatly admired Plato all the way to his death, despite the fact that he later opposed some of his most important points. Aristotle died in 322 BC at the age of sixty-two in Chalkis on the island of Euboea. He also said many sayings regarded to different topics or fields like other Philosophers. Once a person asked that â€Å"what is friend? † Aristotle answered as follows. â€Å"A single soul dwelling in Two Bodies†. Like other Philosophers, Aristotle too talked about friendship and the above quote is such one. When we talk about the friendship, it is a kind of internal bonding among two or more beings. Most of the time, this bonding does not depend on one’s caste, gender, age, occupation, wealth or any other. That is why even very best friend’s needs show a little difference from each other because our bodies are external and physical. The most valuable thing for a human life is the friendship because it is very difficult to live alone. Even the present Psychologists accept that concept. If we go deep into this particular relationship, this can be a good one or a bad one as this depends on their intentions and thoughts. Actually the friendship is a backup for a one’s life, when our self is down with a problem or sadness, our friend is the first person who identifies our situation. He/She may not be able to find a solution for us, but surely he/she will be there to cry with us. That is how best friends act at all. They never let the other down. One’s sadness will be the other’s sadness. That is why Aristotle clearly said that one sole dwelling in two bodies. Friendship will gives the same feeling for all the friends even that is a comedy, tragedy or a joy because friends are one in their souls. Friendship is not only within two persons but within a group of them. Education is the guider to a one’s life. Aristotle said that, â€Å"The roots of the education is bitter, but the fruit is sweet†. Education is received according to a specific order. That is why we can categorize it into primary education, secondary and higher education. Primary education or the very basic education is the important stage for a person because from that only he starts to think logically and effectively. Then only he can have a clear mind about his/her future. If the primary education is not strong, final result will be not a satisfactory one. If the root system is not well developed the tree will not be a good one. But the thing is our basic education is not a sweet one because there are many difficulties and hardships to undergo. Aristotle tried to tell that when we start something we must not judge its conditions from that point, we must think beyond that which means about its future. Because the fruit is our future. Although a tree is fully grown, it never is able to obtain nutrients and water from its top part. From root system only it will get those necessary nutrients. Likewise every new updating knowledge will come through our basic knowledge, if not we won’t be able to understand those. We must remember that there must be difficulties and unpleasant points in our life to make our future a brighter and comfortable one like the great Philosopher, Aristotle.

The Nature of Disease Causing Organisms :: essays research papers

The nature of DISEASE CAUSING ORGANISMS and the mechanisms employed by man to combat these organisms. What is disease? A disease is a disturbance in the normal structure or function of an organism, group of organisms or the entire body. Diseases affect different organisms in different ways, they may be temporary, they may be chronic, or they may be terminal. They may even be localized or widespread through an entire body. Many diseases have been eradicated, but, some have no cure. Humans and other vertebrates have a system of specific immunity to combat disease. Some disease causing organisms invade body tissues and then destroy them, while others setup a symbiotic relationship with the cells. Most communicable diseases are caused by microorganisms or larger parasites that are commonly called germs, most scientists call them pathogens. What kinds of disease are there, that are caused by organisms? -Infectious disease- caused by living organisms, can be passed by contact. -Viral disease- caused by viruses, difficult to treat because viruses are non-living -Fungal disease- usually cause mild infections, difficult to treat -Protozoan disease- the "tropical diseases" caused by protozoa -Worm infections- mostly in the tropics, worms inside body causing damage -Diseases can be caused by a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, and parasitic worms. Some sferre some disease causing organisms, and how do they affect plants? Plant diseases can be caused by microorganisms, parasitic flowering plants, nematodes, viruses, or adverse environmental conditions. Bacterial diseases are marked by symptoms such as soft rot, leaf spot, wilt of leaves and roots, cankers, leaf and twig blight, and gall formation. Most plant diseases are caused by fungi. Fungal diseases have been documented on since biblical times. Fungal diseases are characterized by leaf spots, ulcerous lesions, blights, powdery mildew, cankers, root rots, wilts, and club root. Viral diseases are infectious and spread largely by insects. All economic plants suffer from one or more viral diseases. Symptoms include mosaic patterns, yellowing of foliage, vein clearing, ring spots, stunting and premature death, malformations and overgrowth. Nematodes, or roundworms, are a large cause of disease in plants. They live in and cause damage to the roots, stems, leaves, and bulbs of plants.

Analysis Of Chris Mccandless s The Wild And Never Came...

Maryna Nguyen Ms. Mensen US Lit. A 24 November 2014 Chris McCandless: Who Went Into The Wild and Never Came Back Out To the average person, going off and living off the land is far fetched from the ideal â€Å"perfect life† or â€Å"American Dream†. To Christopher McCandless, it’s another story, he isn’t the type of person to â€Å"stick to the status quo†, he follows the things that he believes could benefit himself. To some people, it may be narcissistic because it’s selfish to only think about what is good for yourself, but to others it could be heroic to have courage to be able to stand out from and break conformity. Chris McCandless, who was well liked and very educated man, left the life that many people desire to have behind and he went off to â€Å"live off the land, to survive off of the resources that nature offered he immersed himself in nature to find himself. It takes a lot of courage and guts to go out and â€Å"live off the land† with limited supplies but it also takes a lot of skills to do it well, and he underestimated what Mother Nature could do, leading to his death. Chris McCandless’ was well liked by the many people he met while he was on the road, he made an impact on everyone that he met, as Wayne Westerberg said, â€Å"A lot of folks here in town got attached to old Alex. Incomes Can Invested Operating Assets Retire Debt Shareholders Finance Essay - Free Essay Example

Sample details Pages: 8 Words: 2343 Downloads: 3 Date added: 2017/06/26 Category Finance Essay Type Narrative essay Did you like this example? INTRODUCTION Incomes are earned by successful companies. These incomes can be invested in operating assets, used to retire debt or repurchase shares, or distributed to shareholders in the form of dividends. When investors buy an ordinary share in a company, they become a shareholder of the business and to that extent they will have certain entitlements, including the right to receive dividend payments. Don’t waste time! Our writers will create an original "Incomes Can Invested Operating Assets Retire Debt Shareholders Finance Essay" essay for you Create order Dividends are defined as a form of rational income distribution offering to shareholders (Baker et al, 2007). Dividends are a way for companies to reward shareholders for their investment and risk-bearing. Besides, dividends also give shareholders additional returns in addition to capital gains. Normally, dividends will be distributed in the form of cash, though it can also come in the form of stock dividends. Dividends are decided upon and declared by the board of directors. Nevertheless, this pay-out is not guaranteed and the amount that shareholders will receive varies from company to company and year to year. Generally, there are two types of cash dividends, which are interim dividends and final dividends. Interim dividends are declared and distributed before the companys annual earnings are known. These interim dividends are paid out of undistributed profits brought from previous periods. A company may choose to pay interim dividends quarterly or half yearly as long as it has adequate undistributed profits brought forward from previous periods. These dividends usually accompany the companys interim financial statements. On the other hand, final dividends are declared at the end of the financial period at the time when the directors are aware of the companys profitability and financial health. Normally, final dividends are declared before the books are closed and will be paid the following year. Thus final dividends will appear as dividends payable or proposed dividends under current liabilities in the balance sheet of that period. In Malaysia, companies are free to decide when and how much to pay out in dividends for a specific financial business year as long as they comply with the Companies Act, 1965. According to Section 365 of the Act, No dividend shall be payable to the shareholders of any company except out of profits or pursuant to Section 60. In other words, the Act requires that dividends of a company can only be distributed from the profits of the company except pursuant to Section 60 of the Act. Besides, the unique characteristic of dividends in Malaysia is the tax exemption feature. With effect from the year of assessment 2008, a single-tier income tax system will replace the imputation system. Under the imputation system, a Malaysian resident company is required to deduct taxes at the prevailing corporate tax rate on taxable dividends paid to its shareholders. This tax is already accounted for through the tax paid by the company on its taxable profits, which is accumulated as dividend franking credits (Section 108 credits). When shareholders receive taxable dividends, they are entitled to a tax credit for the tax already paid by the company in respect of the income. Those credits are then used to offset the shareholders tax liability. However, under the single-tier system, profits are only taxed at the company level; thus, dividends paid under this system will be tax-exempt in the hands of shareholders. Since Modigliani and Millers seminal studies (1958, 1961), dividend policy has been an issue of great interest in the finance literature. Following their irrelevance dividend policy hypothesis many explanations have been provided in order to solve the so-called dividend puzzle. Despite a large body of literature on dividends and payout policy, researchers have yet to reach a consensus on why firms pay dividends and what determines the payout ratio. Some of the theoretical principles underlying the dividend policy of firms can be described either in terms of information asymmetries, the tax-adjusted theory, or behavioral factors. The information asymmetries encompass several aspects, including the signaling models, agency costs and the free cash flow hypothesis. 1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT Dividends are payments made by a company to its shareholders, usually after a company earns a profit. Thus, dividends are not considered as a business expense but are a sharing of recognized assets among shareholders. Dividends are either paid regularly or can be called out anytime. Consequently, a dividend policy is a set of company rules and guidelines used to decide how much the company will pay out to its shareholders. Dividend policy is an essential financial decision made by the board of directors and the management and this decision is one of the fundamental components of corporate policy. Dividend policy has been viewed as an issue of interest in the financial literature and one of the most controversial topics in finance. Despite a large body of literature on dividends and payout policy, researchers have yet to reach a consensus on why firms pay dividends and what determines the payout ratio. The extent literature on dividend payout ratios provides firms with no generally accepted prescription for the level of dividend payment that will maximize share value. Some researchers believe that dividends increase shareholder wealth (Gordon, 1959) while many others believe otherwise. Miller and Modigliani (1961) in their irrelevant dividend hypothesis, asserts that under perfect market conditions, characterized among others by the non-existence of taxes, transaction costs and asymmetric information, dividends are irrelevant since shareholders can create homemade dividends by selling a portion of their portfolio of equitiesÂÂ  if they want cash and that there is a tradeo ff between current dividends and future capital gain. Taking into consideration various capital market imperfections, a considerable amount of theory and model are suggested to explain the dividend policy of companies. Signaling models are based on the assumption that managers have more information about the companys future cash flow than do individuals outside the company, and they have incentives to signal that information to investors (Gugler, 2003). Unexpected changes in dividend policy are used to mitigate information asymmetries between managers and owners (Frankfurter and Wood Jr., 2002). On the other hand, agency theory posits that by distributing resources in the form of cash dividends, internally generated cash flows are no longer sufficient to satisfy the needs of the companies. As a result, companies will visit the capital market more frequently for financing needs, thereby bring them under the greater scrutiny of the capital market (Easterbrook, 1984). Therefore, the payment of dividends provides the incentive for managers to reduce the costs associated with the principal/agent relationship. Agency theory seeks to explain corporate capital structure as a result of attempts to maximize shareholder wealth since dividends can act as a bonding mechanism to reduce the agency costs arising from the conflict between managers and shareholders. Starting with Jensen and Meckling (1976), researchers have been addressing the agency problem in finance from many angles. Nowadays, extensive research has been carried out regarding the issue of agency costs of dividends and the standard findings shows that dividends mitigate the free cash flow and therefore limit the managers ability to enlarge his or her own perks. However, this finding is still inconclusive since other studies have questioned the validity of this finding. For example, Noronha et al. (1996) had regressed five factors as a proxy for agency costs on the dividend payout ratio, but they found that the dividend policy is not the product of an attempt to mitigate the free cash flow problem. Agency costs happen because of conflicts of interest between agents and shareholders. Therefore, agency costs are zero in a 100% owner-managed firm. As a companys ownership structure changes and ownership is separated from control, incentive alignment problems become more important. It is assumed that if managers and shareholders are left alone, they will attempt to act in his or her own self-interest. Self-motivated management behavior includes direct expropriation of funds by the manager, consumption of excessive perquisites, shirking and suboptimal investment. The nature of monitoring and bonding contracts, the managers taste for no pecuniary benefits and the cost of replacing the manager make the actual magnitude and impact of this self-seeking behavior vary across company and country (Jensen and Meckling, 1976). Agency theory has also brought various external and internal monitoring and bonding mechanisms to the forefront of theoretical discussion and empirical research. Recent studies emphasize the potential conflicts of interest between controlling shareholders and other shareholders. For example, Shleifer and Vishny (1997), Faccio et al. (2001) and Holderness (2003) argued that when large owners gain nearly full control of the corporation, they prefer to generate private benefits of control that are not shared by minority shareholders. Hence, firms with large controlling shareholders may exhibit a different type of agency conflict, namely the expropriation of minority shareholders by majority shareholders. On the other hand, in the presence of large shareholders, managerial discretion can be restrained to some extent and agency costs between managers and shareholders are reduced because large shareholders have the ability and the incentives to monitor and discipline management (Shleifer a nd Vishny, 1986). However, this would imply a lesser role for corporate payout policy to address agency problems between corporate insiders and outside shareholders. Despite a great deal of prior research on the subject, few studies investigated the agency and ownership-based explanations of dividend policy. It is also important to note that the extent to which the companys dividend payout policy is effective in reducing the expected agency costs may also depend on its ownership and control structure. Nevertheless, one study by Mat Nor and Sulong (2007) had examined the relationship between ownership structure and dividends in Malaysia. They had used four types of ownership, namely ownership concentration, government ownership, foreign ownership and managerial ownership. However, their findings show a low explanatory power (between 0.118 and 0.124). On the other hand, a study in UK by Short, Zhang and Keasey (2002) that examined the link between corporate dividend policy and the ownership of shares by institutional investors and managers, using four models of dividend policy, the full adjustment model, the partial adjustment model, the Waud model and the earnings trend model found a very high explanatory power (between 0.843 and 0.993). Their study is the first example of using well-established dividend payout models to examine the potential association between ownership structures and dividend policy. These four models, which describe the adjustment of dividends to changes in several measures of corporate earnings, have been modified by the addition of dummy variables representing institutional and managerial ownership, in order to determine whether the presence of the specific classes of investors in the ownership structure affect the process of determination of the level of the earnings that are being distributed. Thus, this situation brings up a question whether it is true that ownership structure has a low impact on corporate dividend policy in Malaysia. Therefore, this study attempts to examine the hypothesized relationship between corporate dividend policy and the various types of ownership structure by using dividen d payout models. 1.3 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY Main Objective: To investigate the adoption of agency costs theory in explaining dividend policy in Malaysian listed companies. Specific Objective: To examine the relationship between various ownership structures based agency cost proxies on dividend policy. To identify which agency cost proxy is dominant in influencing dividend policy over the company. To identify which dividend model is superior in explaining the corporate dividend policy with variables associated with ownership structures. 1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY This study contributes to the growing body of survey research on dividend policy. For example, the current study not only updates previous research by Mat Nor and Sulong (2007) but is also applied in a different model, namely, the Full Adjustment Model, the Partial Adjustment Model and the Waud Model. These three types of dividend models had been modified to account for the possible effect of ownership structure and dividend policy. This study utilizes these three types of dividend models since it was found from previous research that dividend models can have the significant effect on ownership structure. In addition, this study is expected to support the agency theory, especially in explaining the ownership structure policy to reduce agency conflict. Consequently, this study would assist each ownership class to understand the explanation of the agency relationship. Shareholders with respect to stock investment in companies should be concerned with the agency conflict between ownership classes. Therefore, shareholders should justify that dividend policies are better control mechanisms for the agency conflict. Lastly, this study is also important in helping policy makers and companies to appropriately address the issues of agency costs. 1.5 LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY The main limitation of this study is that the data period covers only on the year 2007. The shorter period of study may not be representative of the way companies operate their business cycle. Thus, a longer period of study might be good to provide better results for this research. The data for ownership structure was gathered from the list of the thirty largest shareholders disclosed in the company annual report. Consequently, the data may not be representative of the entire company. The study only covers 150 public-listed companies in the selected sectors. Hence, the results cannot be treated as conclusive for all sectors. Besides that, since the study was limited to publicly-held companies, the results may not necessarily be applicable to privately-held companies. 1.6 CONCLUSION Dividends distribution is one of the simplest ways for companies to communicate their financial well-being and shareholder value. Dividends send a clear, powerful message about future prospects and performance. Dividends are important for more than income generation since it also provides a way for investors to assess a company as an investment prospect. This study tests the relationship of ownership structure and corporate dividend policy via three types of dividend models, namely, the Full Adjustment Model, the Partial Adjustment Model (Litner, 1956) and the Waud Model (1966). It examined the adoption of agency costs theory through ownership structure and dividend policy. Significant results could act as guidance for companies and policy makers to appropriately address the issues of agency costs. The next section of the study briefly reviews the theoretical and empirical literature. Then, the third chapter describes the data, develops the theoretical model and also discusses the research framework. Chapter Four will reveal the empirical results while the summary and conclusion of the study are presented in Chapter Five.

Theme Of Love Gone Love And A Midsummer Nights Dream

Literature Theme Comparison Love is a popular theme in a multitude of literature pieces throughout the times. Forbidden love seems nearly as popular as does love gone wrong and unconditional love. Two tales that contain the theme of forbidden love, the theme of love gone wrong, and the theme of unconditional love are: William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Fay Weldon’s â€Å"IND AFF or Out of Love in Sarajevo.† Though these stories were both written many years apart, they have a commonality with their themes. These themes can be drawn by the individual story’s main characters and main events. Even though the theme of love gone wrong displays itself a bit differently in each piece, its identification is still very clear in†¦show more content†¦The potion is again administered but this time to the intended individuals. Demetrius ends up falling in love with Helena and Lysander falls in love with Hermia. Even though the story is a whirlwind of crazy love gone wrong, everything ends up working out for everyone in the end. There are copious amounts of evidence within this story to support the theme of forbidden love, the theme of love gone wrong, and the theme of unconditional love. The theme of unconditional love is nearly screaming from each line of the play. The audience is made aware of the love between Lysander and Hermia very early on. Hermia’s father wishes her to marry Demetrius and he mentions that she belongs to him and therefor if she doesn’t do as he asks he can have her killed. Despite this Hermia pleads, â€Å"So will I grow, so live, so die, my lord, Ere I will yield my virgin patent up Unto his lordship, whose unwished yoke My soul consents not to give sovereignty, (Shakespeare, 1595).† Ultimately Hermia is trying to make everyone aware that she would much rather whither away and die than to give up her virginity to someone that she doesn’t love. The audience is also introduced to the love that is portrayed by Lysander to Hermia. Appraise Archive Management

Question: Evaluate the scope of archive operations to preserve and deliver current and historical literature. Share how digital archive databases might pose limits on end-users (e.g., type and quality of literature, skills and knowledge level of end-users, associated costs, and security issues). Answer: Introduction In the context of archival sense, Bingham, (2013) commented that appraisal is the techniques that is mainly conducted with the help professional archivist in which all the records are examined to do the determination of the values. Moreover, different considerations at the time of conducting the appraisal discuss about the process to meet the record-granting organizational needs, process to sustain the requirements of the organizational accountabilities and the process to meet the expectations of different record-using communities (De Virgilio, Maccioni Torlone, 2014). In this report, the analyst did evaluation of the scope of different archive operations in terms of preserving as well as delivering both the current and historical literatures (Chauhan, 2014). Moreover, it also discusses about the techniques of digital archive databases to pose limits on different end-users. Evaluation of the scope of archive operations to preserve as well as deliver both current and historical literature In article 1, Cormode Firmani, (2013) commented that archive operations mainly helps to take different preventive measures that mainly used to detect different criteria of malicious attacks. Moreover, all these attacks depending on data-intensive applications become serious types of threats. In order to discuss about the scope of different archive operations it expands the cyber attacks pressure database management to prevent not only the unauthorized accesses and also different tolerate types of intrusions (De Bruyne Fischhendler, 2013). Apart from this, this paper mainly focuses on different critical aspects of intrusion database systems that include both damage assessment as well as repairing techniques. In the context of article 2, analyst discussed about different criteria of heterogeneous as well as homogenous infrastructures, huge type of datasets, and parallel type of algorithms (Cormode Firmani, 2013). Moreover, two types of concerns of this research paper address both the query execution planning as well as data access integration type. Apart from this, this article also helps in order to do the evaluation of archive operations scope that mainly helps to preserve and to deliver both historical as well as current literature. In article 3, it mainly discusses about different management issues that are mainly related with the database quality. However, analyst also discusses about different discovery tools that are mainly used in decision-making process and the impacts of database quality decisions on users (De Bruyne Fischhendler, 2013). Moreover, this also discusses about different issues, decision, philosophies that remain unaltered In article 4, analyst discusses that depending on the initiation of distributed computing, querying of huge datasets used in data repositories depending on the global platform becomes the challenging question of this particular research paper (De Virgilio, Maccioni Torlone, 2014). Apart from this, in this paper we expand the blackboard method with the help of multi-stage and hierarchical approaches. In article 5, KafalÄ ±, Gnay Yolum, (2013) describes about synchronous check pointing mechanism with the help of which it degrades the performance for check pointing operations to get complete. Moreover, in this article it also discussed about different techniques that helps to prevent contention for the criteria of stable storage. Moreover, in this report, it uses the quasi-synchronous check pointing mechanisms to mitigate various problems regarding synchronous as well asynchronous algorithms (De Virgilio, Maccioni Torlone, 2014). Sharing of the techniques of digital archive databases might poses limits of end-users In article 1, KafalÄ ±, Gnay Yolum, (2013) discussed that both check pointing as well as roll back recoveries are the two techniques that are mainly used for handling the failures according to the distributed system. Moreover, in this article it also discussed about both necessary as well as sufficient conditions that are mainly used for transaction-consistent global checkpoints in the distributed database system. Apart from this, De Virgilio, Maccioni Torlone, (2014) discussed about different issues that are mainly related with the designing procedures and the implementation techniques of recovery techniques as well as efficient characteristics of check pointing required for different distributed systems that are mainly understood. However, in this paper, Moore Evans, (2013) also cited that different analogous questions that are mainly required for distributed database system. Apart from his, it is also used for different audit purposes. Moreover, in this paper, De Bruyne Fischhendler, (2013) also elaborated the establishment of both necessary as well as sufficient conditions for the check points of different data items become the part of transaction-consistent global check points used for distributed databases. Furthermore, these types of conditions mainly help in order to do designing and the implementation of non-intrusive Check pointing algorithms for the distributed database systems (Lawrence, 2013). In article 2, Moore Evans, (2013) discussed that depending on synchronous check pointing, all processes are mainly involved in the process of distributed computation techniques in the simultaneous manner. In the context of distributed computing system, all existing check-pointing algorithms are mainly classified into three algorithms that include asynchronous, synchronous as well as quasi-synchronous. In this particular paper, we proposed staggered quasi-synchronous which mainly used to reduce the conflict of network stable storage (Qin Rusu, 2013). The objective of this particular paper is the use of staggered quasi-synchronous check pointing algorithm that mainly allows doing the reduction of contention of stable storage. It also evaluated the performance of this algorithm with the help of simulation techniques (De Bruyne Fischhendler, 2013). In article 3, Roberts, (2013) focused on efficient criteria of damage assessment as well as repairing of distributed database system. However, this type of complexity is mainly caused with the help of distributed transaction processing, data partition as well as failures that makes intrusion recovery more challenging than centralized database system (Qin Rusu, 2013). Moreover, this paper also did the identification of all key challenges and use efficient algorithm for both repairing and distributed damage assessment. In article 4, Sasak Brzuszek, (2010) commented that it is mainly introduces heuristic framework for doing the optimization techniques of Query Execution Plan (QEP) on the worldwide platform. However, in this research paper, it mainly discusses about multi-staged blackboard mechanism to do the determination of available data, operations and resources to perform the queries in optimal manner (Roberts, 2013). Apart from this, the evaluation scenario discussed about different findings dependent on then changes of selections. In article 5, Sasak Brzuszek, (2010) cited that all the management issues are mainly related with the quality of the librarys catalog as well as the source databases also reflects the continual criteria of evolution. Moreover, in the article it also discussed about the persistent shortcomings of decision-making process that needed to be addressed all lack age based on users benefits and needs (De Virgilio, Maccioni Torlone, 2014). Apart from this, it also discussed about all the actual impacts of users for all database quality decisions. Conclusion In this particular research paper, it mainly discussed the evaluation of the scope of archive operations mainly used to preserve as well as to deliver both the current and historical literature. Moreover, with the understanding of different archive operations it is mainly needed all the digital archive operations poses limits on end-users depending on different security issues, different kind of associated costs. Apart from this, in this research paper, analyst discusses all type of assessment as well as different repairing techniques that are mainly used for distributed database systems and different management issues related to the databases qualities. Furthermore, the analyst also discusses about the uses of query optimization framework for distributed database resources. Furthermore, analyst also concludes that in this report it also discusses about better understanding of database administration as well as management. Reference List Bingham, A. (2013). Illustrations and Interpretations Essay Example For Students

Illustrations and Interpretations Essay An illustration may be defined as a furnishing for a written text in the form of drawings or pictorial presentations intended as an elucidation or adornment. Although interpretations may seem analogous to illustrations, there are subtle but manifest differences between them. Interpretations are extra festoons to a text that arent clearly stated but can be detected if we read between the lines. Often, when we read and analyse a text, we have troubles when interpreting what we read. This is because these vital bits of information can be overwhelmingly tedious to comprehend and arent very manifest. However, if a text is read meticulously, interpretations can be more potent than illustrations. This is despite the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. Illustrations basically succour the reader to conjure up the images intended by the author but interpretations go beyond that. All we have to do is fastidiously break down the information that is being transferred to us in the text. If we submit our mind and creativity to the text being read, we can scrupously explore another unsurpassed world created by it. In conclusion, we must all explore arts profusely in order to increase the altruism of illustrations and interpretations. This would further increase our elation and appreciation when reading texts. It requires nominal effort to dig up art, afterall, there is art in everything, even roasted apples. So what are you waiting for? Increase your passion for arts today.
